Super strong raid opponents.  A health bar is across the top, but no numeric value is displayed.  Each monster has a Block meter in the top right-hand corner under the health bar. At the start, the creature has x block and you deal 1/x damage. The block number goes down with time, and your damage thus increases. It takes some time for the block number to be at 0 and damage to be 100% of normal.


Each creature in the cell rewards with a unique currency that can be exchanged for buffs in the SHOP screen.  The buffs are substantial and can help you to progress through certain sections of the game.

Gorshank note:

Gorshank has a separate health bar for each head which also have their own blocks. Once the first head is killed Gorshank will swap heads and as his block decreases his damage increases until he has as much damage as you have health, effectively instantly killing you. Kill the first head with as little damage as possible and save your usual damaging sequence for the second head.
