Contracts[]
There are 24 (36 if you get the 3 rebirth perks) different contract quests you can pursue, each with 9 additional versions with increasing difficulty making a grand total of 240 (360) to work towards. Completing contracts awards EXP which is needed to unlock higher tiers and also awards merits badges that can be spent on game bonuses.
Levels gained in Contracts are permanent and do not reset on Ascension or Rebirth.
Note that the Ungodly, Cerebral and Lavathian tiers require the appropriate perks to unlock.

You reach the cap when buying all rewards in contract shop, so if you use Raid drop luck cards, you might want avoid buying all rewards to not waste merits.
